Maybe if you hit max faction ("could not get any better"), then it still keeps going up internally?

This would explain why lowering it (by killing Clurg) would still leave you at or above "could not get any better".


OP text does sound like a bug though. It should say that it got worse.

I don't recall hitting max before this, though. I had done alot of quests at oggok, ye, but I'd have noticed and rejoiced if all the Pungla-murderings would've made Clurg max ally. =o

Could the way I killed him screw it up? I was trying to FD and let pet finish it so that I wouldn't take a faction hit, but forgot that he was the dots gave me the faction hit anyway. So I FD'd and stood up, pet and dot finished him off.

Did a quest that gave faction up with Clurg, and now it didn't say that couldn't get any better... Imma try killing the bouncer laters again to see if it keeps happening like that. =X

Tried it again just nows, doing the same FD and then pet+dot finished him. Normal faction hits this time. Dunno what was going on earlier, but couldn't replicate it.

I have noticed through a lot of faction work that the faction hits are accurate even if the messages they give are opposite. This usually only applies to quests though, and not mob kills. So that is odd! I guess what I'm trying to say is that even if the message is incorrect, my bet is that your faction went the right way.
