In Kael there is a giant merchant that sells No Drop morsels of Dwarf Flesh. It's fun to walk up to a dwarf, look them in the eye, and take a bite from my inventory.

How about you?

Agree that the racial food is always a bonus. Gnome kabobs are great.

Elvish trail mix for the win, though.

Fish Fillets...

For some reason I have it in my mind that my iksar enjoys the flavor.

Need to carry stack of gnome kabobs to distribute to fellow ogres. Constant solA farming trips.

Also had to make trips to buy 2 bags of pies on halfling alt off a certain lizard vendor, but we can't speak about that out loud since the pecks must never find out.

Pretty much any food and drink sold by iksar...

What about unique food/drink available to buy direct from merchants?

I love picking up stacks of Ogre Swill whenever I go home to Oggok, makes for fun handouts.

I'd go with the Halas Meat Pie.

At some point, some bearded nerd viking must have had the idea to put together an entire savannah and make a dish of it.

It has 7.2 weight. Assuming that EQ weight is provided in pounds, you're eating 3.6 kilograms of different animals drowned in cream, including a bear, a lion, a wolve and a prehistoric elephant.

Epic meal time.

Earthworm Munch. Dee-licious!

Nothing tastes like Cabilis more than a Earthworm Munch washed down with a Bladder of Lizard Milk.

Stocking up on these is the highlight of every trip back to Cab.

I think the EQ weight unit is stones actually. That halas meat pie weighing 7.2 is really confusing though! 7.2 real world stones is roughly 100lbs ...maybe it was supposed to be the Halas 100lb Pie!

I've eaten 100lbs pie before ;)

I usually get into a habit for each character to keep certain foods stockpiled.

For the druid its always Jumjum juice and lettuce. (https://wiki.project1999.com/Daleen_Leafsway)
The enchanter enjoys a variety of pickles (https://wiki.project1999.com/Boomba_the_Big) and bottles of milk.
And the necro and shammy enjoy snacking on candied spiders (https://wiki.project1999.com/Pincia_Brownloe) while not around Cabilis.

Nothing tastes like Cabilis more than a Earthworm Munch washed down with a Bladder of Lizard Milk.

Stocking up on these is the highlight of every trip back to Cab.

It warms my blackened heart to see I'm not the only one who does this. Flasks of bloodwater, too.

Yep I won't eat or drink anything else on my iksar, I will switch to the froglegs sometimes. He also likes foraged roots.
Ranger eats only foraged food but not the roots...gross

1. HEHE Meat: https://wiki.project1999.com/HEHE_Meat_Quest

2. Paladin pickles because they are made for paladins. Right? Uuuuh, amirite?

Since p99 food durations are incorrect and all foods and drinks last the same time, I only buy muffins and milk, cause cheap.

Whiskers never goes adventuring without pickled dwarf, HEHE meat, bladders of otter milk, clamcakes and a ship in a bottle. Anything I find on the ground that's edible is also good. I have a bag of meats in my bank for when I crave a particular flavor.

Every now and then I like to pass out Pickled Wurm on HoT nights, but mostly I stick to muffins, water, and (when in Freeport) pickled dwarf.

I like to pass around some Lendel's Grand Lagers.

It seems appropriate for almost any situation, and certainly sweetens the deal for any trades or tips made.

Paladin Pickles 2nd best paladin food, after anything dwarf. Nothing else matters really. Cannibal paladin would be best paladin, if only it weren't for dead dorfs being better than anything really.

Well, in some (twisted) fantasy contexts, the most efficient way to interrogate is to kill and then abuse the summoned shade of the dearly departed. I figured that's where you were coming from.

If/when Chardok 2.0 and classic food durations are patched I will be making special trips to stock up on deep cavern toadstools and Louie's thick 'n hearty. Until then, a diet of ice berry muffins and milk will do.
