Hit 40 on my paladin. So far am really impressed with this spell. New heal is 1.8 heal per 1 mana spent. DP is 2.66 heal per mana drained and it stacks with fungi, sham/druid regen line and bard song. 8 extra regen that stacks with everything is well worth 3 mana a tick.

I suspect it will be less awesome when I can deepwater helm heal but for now it’s quite nice.

Correct. Once you have DW helm you shouldn't be spending any mana on heals, DP included, while soloing unless it's an emergency. If you're grouping w/ a mana regen class and are constantly at full mana then yeah, toss it in. Otherwise no for 45+ imo.

Interesting, was gonna go grab it but never did. Can almost click my Deepwater Helm now, but maybe I'll go grab this.

It still comes in handy late in the 50’s. For those semi-afk camps when you drink too much or take afk breaks while you med. Not having to click a helm makes it easier to hit the home bar.
