installation error

So I was trying to install project 1999. I was so excited to play and everything. But it was all shattered when an error message appear. It said: Windows cannot find eqgame.
And I'm all like "what the what". i have no idea what i did wrong.

The instructions I used were from this video:

If anybody could tell what i did wrong, i would really appreciate it! :):D

Move your EQ directory out of Program Files.

I also am having this error, however all of my EQ files are outside of the program files and in the C: drive in a separate folder. I have attempted moving them into D: drive but I continue to have issues. I followed all the guidelines and install instruction here in this forum. not sure what to do any help would be great.

Having the same issue and I have tried to put EQ folder on a few different SSD and HDD drives as well as c:\\EQ which I created. Still no luck.

Getting the same message. Coming up with
'You can not attach a debugger while playing Project 1999'
Then: eqgame.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). ?????

Exclude your EQ directory in your antivirus settings or disable your antivirus.
