Login Server Issue?

Is the login server having issues? My ping to the server is fine, yet I'm getting network connect issue error message.

I'm receiving a similar issue. I have been able to play just fine these past few months and as of today I received the error, ""A connection to the server could not be reached. Please check your internet connection to make sure you are online."

Anyone have any suggestions?

Same here. Yesterday and today. It started yesterday as I logged off one character and was switching to another. I was unable to get on for about an hour, after which it appeared to be fine again. Starting fresh today, I have gotten the same error message.

I was in game, logged out (completely) to switch accounts, and when I try to log in, it lets me get to the server select screen (numbers are dropping quickly) and once you select blue, after about 20 seconds it dumps you back to the log in screen.

I'm getting an a error message as well!! It states : Error 1017 Cannot login to the Everquest Server, you may need to re-run the update patcher. I don't use a patcher . I've always updated manually. Anyone else having this issue????

Been having the same issue as reported above over the last few weeks and it is only happening when trying to log onto Project 1999: Blue (Velious, PvE) server.

This error, if it does occur, seems to do so after camping a character and then trying to log back in. Once I do manage to eventually connect I find that /exit doesn't seem to trigger this error.

Note that once Error 1017 occurs, I can still successfully log into other servers, just not the Project 1999: Blue (Velious, PvE) server.

I'm getting this problem now, too. I crashed twice earlier today when trying to create a spam window for auction, which I guess happens if you resize the window to small or minimize it - the game doesn't like that for some reason? Anyway, after crashing the second time, I didn't log in for an hour or two and now I'm getting this need to patch error and just keep getting booted back to the login screen.
