i tend to avoid furry stuff and every other experience/interaction with someone involved has always been male, so it's completely new to me. the closest i could think of for comparison's sake was lola bunny in space jam. it made me question whether she had hair or not but it was just a tuft of fur and her ears tied like a ponytail, but that's a completely different rabbit hole to go down

Nope not at all. They take ~100 hours to make, sometimes more. And that's just labor not material costs.

More realistic style and detailed would run 6-8k. Only a few makers do ones like that though. I've been thinking about getting a silver furred Nexii but I'm unsure if I want one like that. It would be pretty awesome, but sometimes they're sort of in the uncanny valley. A lot more than cartoon style which rarely gives me that sense. Plus there's the fact that I'd need to save up the money.

Yes I did, a lot. I also use to play mechwarrior online but grew tired of it's shenanigans.

Furries always bring duffel bags or large cases for their fursuits though. I've got a big hockey bag for mine. It's always kind of lol, I'll get the most masculine dudes ask me if I'm going to play hockey. And I'd be like...yea....sure. It was more funny when I was weighing like 130-140 pounds. I mean you'll see some human characters with animal features here and there on FA etc. And people that go around with just the tails/ears at cons cause they don't want to or can't afford a full fursuit. That being said it's a pretty open fandom and there's always some overlap within the larger sci-fi/fantasy fandom.

Yeah the first few movies were pretty good, but they milked the franchise too long. Yea Egyptian is really appealing. My sona is more based on Nordic/Norse mythology. The long blonde hair is typical for people of that area.
