Hey! I'm a human SK and I got a bind in FV town. Everything there is apprehensive. I even banked there!

After I got my bind, I went afk, returned to my keyboard and I was dead. A guard killed me that cons apprehensive. Took me 2-3 deaths to get far enough away so he didn't do it again. I'm completely puzzled...

I'm bound by the bank. That's the only thing I can think of. Surely I'm not the only person who has been bound by the bank though, right?

You were initially attacked by a pilgrim, and the guard assisted. I don't see a /con message for the pilgrim in your SS. Your religion modifier may have you as KoS to them.

That must be it! Great eyes Mcoy. I now see that he conned the "explorer" but not the pilgrim - that pilgrim must not be very welcoming

Pilgrims and guards and etc are all on the same faction. However one roaming group of shieldbearer high elves are not and they are kos to human sks of bertox and innoruuk

Thanks for the info. It turns out that the NPC the previous commenter Named is listed as a High Elf Wizard and hangs out with Shieldbearers. I think they got me.

Ahh - makes sense. I always thought FV was one big faction and was pleased when I had killed enough goblins on my iksar to bank there. Good to know I should look out for those mobs.

I've been there multiple times on my SK and this is the first time I've been attacked by something in town. Makes me wonder if they don't always wonder. Wiki says the Wizard has a 50% chance to spawn at the LOC lilsted on the page.
