Hello everyone,

We have what is basically a "static group" of adventurers, all about level 40. We're all still on our first toons here on p99 which means that we're not twinked and still learning the nuances of dungeon crawls.

We seemingly have the basic classes covered: Cleric, Enchanter, Paladin (tank), Rogue, and Druid (evac).

Would love some dungeon suggestions-- we've spent a fair amount of time in Crystal Caverns and Splitpaw already, just to note. We're considering ToFS but I've heard some scary stuff, namely re: the second floor and also difficult corpse runs. Would greatly appreciate any feedback!

ToFS is awesome. Go there. Third floor will be great xp for you guys now, and you can get keyed for some of the harder floors that can carry you to 50.

That said, some Kunark dungeons (Droga?) are probably up your alley, but I have less experience in there. You may want to check them out before they start to green out.

Kaesora sounds perfect

CoM, MM, and Solb are of course still incredible but over camped

A great idea. Any places you guys can go that will give XP + potentially a useful item / key / etc is great. Go there and kill Xalgoz until you all have your fang (for the key to Howling Stones): https://wiki.project1999.com/Xalgozian_Fang

Probably wouldn't take that long to get 5 keys, and it would be a heck of an XP session!

Another place would be Droga. Camping the Soothsayer for https://wiki.project1999.com/Earring_of_Essence - Its a fantastic item for everyone.

A little later in your later 40s...SolB is awesome if its quiet in there. Short run from the druid ring too. Your druid can contribute a lot to your group there keeping a bat charmed. Camp there doing bats / bugs / LDCs until everyone has a https://wiki.project1999.com/Large_Soiled_Bag

Note: can also return to SolB with your group later when the enchanter can charm the imps near Efreeti (they can be weaponized and also backstab) and you guys can farm him for sweet drops and great xp.

Awesome info! We've never tried Kaesora or Droga either. Got some fun stuff to consider here

Some good suggestions here. To add to the list, Lower Guk is always underutilized. It's not uncommon to zone in and see 3-4 various named on track, so it could be a fun crawl to hunt around for them.

King camp in solb is probably doable with your group too, but the break might be dicey.

Lower Guk. If dead side is camped, live side is almost never camped.

Kedge Keep.

Droga/Nurga.

Kaesora for fun times.

Cazic Thule Pyramid if I remember correctly.

Message me in game by the same name if you want a monk. If I'm online and have time I'd join in.

Rygorr fort in Eastern Wastes might start coming into its own for you.

It offers excellent gear for new chain/plate classes and a good 1hb for priests.

Interesting suggestion, thanks Jimjam! Yeah we've been scampering through that fort on our way into CC lately (I assume that's the fort?) and have always noticed that it is full of mobs for the taking. I have to bring my cleric back into CC tonight to offer a few rezzes for our enchanter, maybe we'll scope out the fort a bit.

Otherwise, it sounds like Kaesora could be a fun option worth exploring. Melee classes can also get bound right outside Kaesora in the ruins (correct?), this would make prospective CRs less daunting. I'm guessing we'll try this.

Rraak, I'll be sure to check for you next time we're on. Love all of the input, thanks guys!

Yeah, the fort is pretty decent. Several named in there that drop decent loot. Be careful of aggro through walls though. They fort walls don't seem to block proximity aggro like walls in some other places do.

Explore, embrace and become Lower Guk IMO.
Some areas are still challenging at 45+, although with your group composition I wouldn't be worried.
