IIRC, it's because my pet doesn't have magical weapons and my shield would also have to be a magic item.

If I am indeed remembering correctly, what is the least expensive means of getting your pet magical weapons.

Of course I could be totally wrong about this lol

Mages get summon dagger at lvl 1. I think those work....can't be 100% certain though.

If you are a Necro, then buying something is your only route....

Yep summoned weaps work so if you're a mage summon your own- if you're a necro, bug a mage :D

The Lightstones did work (just not with kick or bash)! They also appear as bags in his hands lol

This must have something to do with pet level, because I've been soloing ghouls from 18-21 on my Necro and the pet hasn't had any trouble doing damage with rusty weapons.

IIRC lvl 16+ pets have magic fists so they would be able to hit.

Just go to EC tunnel and plead poverty or go there with barely any equipment and wait around. Eventually someone will come up to you and offer you a spare weapon from Kunark or Velious.

That's his gamma or screenshot software. Nothing in this client is that dark, even if you're human/erudite/barbarian.
