Sham Epic bug?

Hello all, I'm currently a 41 ogre sham working on my page turn in part of my epic. My faction is warmly, I have turned in 2 books so far, I did the quest all the way through fur boots. The problem is that after my last turn in, the command prompt to receive another book doesn't work. I do not receive anything, the spirit sentinel doesn't even acknowledge a hail. Figured I would ask if anyone has had this problem before I made a petition. Thanks!

Try standing closer, anytime a mob you expect to respond to a hail doesn't, it's usually a range issue.

Obligatory stupid/obvious question. You're at the correct spirit sentinel right? There's two in that zone, and one is only for the final turn-in.

Pretty sure it's the right one. I'm on the com page step. Isn't it the same one to turn in the completed book as it is to get the book in order to combine?

Combine the 6 pages in the booklet and return the finished product back to the Spirit Sentinel (location +1250, +300).

You recieve a booklet which is a 6 slot container. (NOTE: it appears that the spirit can give you the container before your faction is good enough for him to accept it back when you have combined the product - apparently you should not try to do these hand ins before KINDLY faction).

Ok, last obligatory stupid question, and then I'm out of ideas: were you perhaps invisible when you talked to him (the zone has lots of wandering monsters so it wouldn't be unusual)?

The sentinel did aggro me at the same time another mob aggroed me. But that's beside the point, he still wouldn't respond even before that incident.

but why would he aggro at warmly? dont think they share aggro with any mobs even animals?

Try saying 'I am Heyokah' instead of trying the last prompt of the story chain?

This. I had the same issue until I got right in his grill and said the trigger line.

So just to summarize (for anyone reading this later on, or if OP wants to include it in a bug report), you're ...

at the Spirit Sentinel at location +1250, +300
you're on top of it (practically humping the Sentinel's face)
you're not invisible
when you con the sentinel it says he's warmly/kindly/ally
you are saying the phrase "'I will find how it all began" multiple times
you are also trying the phrase "I am Heyokah" multiple times
(maybe for good measure you're also trying the phrases "How can we rub it out?" and "What about the city's demise?" multiple times)
there's no other wackiness going on:
you're not in the middle of a duel (not sure this matters)
you're not mid-link-death (this definitely would matter)
you're not doing this mid-spell-cast (this would be hard to do on accident)
you didn't delete your black fur boots (not sure they even matter, but /shrug they might)


... and he's still not responding. And what's stranger still, you've even attempted this on multiple occasions and had the same outcome.
