Been reading non stop about this for the past 2 days in my free time.

Do you think its possible she really thought it was her apartment?

Do you think she is guilty of Manslaughter, Murder in 2nd Degree, or 1st degree?

Thanks friends.

clevergirl

 <---- that's her motive.

(she wasn't getting the dick)

I think a normal woman would've had some deep emotional experience.

Cops are a lot more high strung and typically train themselves to react to stress differently. When there's no good resolution, I think it can lead to stuff like this.

I don't think she was racist. Just stupid. And emotional.

According to Guyger’s account, when she arrived home to the South Side Flats apartments on September 6, she didn’t realize she had gotten out on the wrong floor of her building and that the apartment she was in was not, in fact, hers.

Seeing a “large silhouette” in the dark apartment, she said she thought she was being burglarized. So she shot, hitting Jean in the chest. When she turned on the lights in the apartment, she realized her mistake, CNN reported.

'Murica all over isn't it?

Mead
09-15-2018, 12:47 AM
really? but whats her motive?

The only motive I could find is "Merritt and the law enforcement official said there had been a noise complaint the day Jean was shot. The law enforcement official said Jean told his girlfriend that two women from the leasing office came by his apartment after he got off work and he wasn’t playing music at the time."

It's possible she just lost it after a long shift. If so, she's fucked. Then again, it is Texas.

To some readers, black man gets shot...white person is involved directly/indirectly = racism + protests.

The fact that it's Texas I'm not so sure there'll be high level protests/coverage but if the media is it's irresponsible self they could go wild with the story.

Two witnesses heard knocks. And one heard "let me in, let me in".

I'm going for dumbass Murican with prior relationship.

Sticking to premeditated.

Seems safe to assume she was upset and mad after a long shift, knew him, and deliberately went to that apartment not at all on accident.

I once accidentally went into the wrong apartment, but the door had been wide open and I immediately turned around and left. I didn't live there, was visiting my brother and was unfamiliar. It's remotely possible, but no one should be blowing away people just for standing there. And the other facts point to her being an asshole who requires a quick and speedy euthanasia.

I haven't heard of this story (I live in a Conservative bubble)

You're telling me a cop broke into someone else's home and shot them and said they thought it was their apartment?

How did she get in? Does she have a key? Does she know the guy? Why did she think it was her apartment? Was she drunk?

Sounds like a corrupt cop to me trying to cover their tracks. This is manslaughter, at least.

I'm a Leftist now so I'm learning to hate cops, bear with me.

She has stated she never spoke or met with him before the shooting.

I read a few rumors that isn't the case. It's important the detectives find this out.

Basically she shouldn't get a free pass though. This was wilful negligence at the least. IMO only a homicidal maniac stands in a doorway blocking the exit without taking cover and shoots unarmed people however.

The jury will have to decide whether her testimony is true or false.

Being a cop sucks and involves risk. That's part of the job. It's not a good excuse to shoot someone.

90% of people who become cops really have no other career options and most departments pay very well considering the education level.

You are trading a high danger level for a paycheck, if you are in that boat generally you choose between cop or criminal.

As for her eyes, I think she is pretty cute and I would party with her.

A lot of cops chose their profession (it seems) to lord their authority over others. If you’re actually a manly dude who wants to serve I think you go become a fireman. Cops, in my opinion, 50% cool people and 50% peaked in high school dickheads

In 2017, NFL shortened overtime from 15 minutes to 10 minutes for preseason and regular season games with the intent of reducing the risk of injury, despite concerns this will lead to more ties.

Exactly. It’s not going to work. Try to convince the jury she walked into the wrong apartment and found some man she thought was burglarizing her place. It also just happened to reek of marijuana out in the hall. Yea ok.

It’s also going to be very telling when the facts come out about who made the noise complaints which prompted management to check it out.

She’s better off sticking to the I walked into the wrong aparentment and shot someone in pitch dark story.

I’m also curious to see if there’s any camera footage of the outside or this dudes place proving if there were lights on.

Warrants were executed on her behalf AFTER she had already gave her initial statement.

Initial statements, and any statement for that matter, can be added onto and changed for trial at any time.

Maybe. But there is strong indicators she is going with a combination of "wrong apartment" and potential crime in commission (marijuana).

She'll mix both defenses and get a hung jury. There will be no retrial.

I agree and i'm 999% sure this happens all the time. We have a very undisciplined and anarchic society, the rule of law only applies if your captured alive and white color, then it only applies if you know the right people, and there's nothing to be gained from making an example of you, aka it can be spun/hidden/propoganda'd away.

according to google murder is:
the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another. (she asserts that she didnt know she was entering his apartment, if we take her at her word, this was not premeditated)

but that is just a short sentence for a very complex word.

would you consider a US marine killing another US marine in friendly fire as murder? it is illegal for a US marine to kill another US marine, but in the case of friendly fire, a deeper examination has to occur.

according to google murder is:
the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another. (she asserts that she didnt know she was entering his apartment, if we take her at her word, this was not premeditated).

If her story is legit then no. She claims she thought she was entering her apartment and believed there to be a robbery taking place. Manslaughter is what she could be charged with if there is no evidence of premeditation.

Sorry if my words aren't making sense atm. Just did number 3/4 12s in a row. I'm exhausted. One more to go for now.

Botham Jean had a red rug in front of his apartment. Amber Guyger did not. Guyger told law enforcement Jean's door was unlocked and ajar when she arrived and she thought he was a burglar. Jean's family and their attorneys say they don't believe Guyger's story.

it aint legit. its 2nd degree murder. meaning it wasnt planned, but there was intent to kill due to bullsheedo circumstances.

it is not manslaughter or a manslaughter case after the Dallas news exposed the rug and DailyMail exposed the "door ajar".

Rug + door mechanics are all you need to bust her. She's doing life in the bing if she dont get to talkin

How did she not recognize the number on the outside of the apartment? Seriously, every complex has the doors, units numbered. How could you not recognize that?

If you ever lived in an apartment complex you would understand. I was doing laundry on the 2nd floor but lived on the third. Walked right into 2nd floor unit below me out of habit and freaked this lady out.

She even had this giant wreath on her door and we had a picture of our son. That shit does happen. I believe there is at least the possibility of what she is saying to be true, but will withhold judgement until all the evidence is presented.

I guess. But witnesses were still saying she said "Let me in" or they heard some commotion of that nature.

Here's the relevant text:
there was a black person in my house last night, i ran into him when i was going to open the bathroom door, he opened it and came out and gave me a jump, i let him go without shooting him and calling the cops though. He just had to pee. This is a true story and it's fucking irony of the universe you would mention that and I would have this happen.
BTW he was there because he was too drunk to drive home last night and my roomate is nice, and an adult
the super irony is i couldn't tell how black he was in the dark  LOL!

He was a total stranger, until last night.

This is how you are supposed to behave. And I am not even a well armed, well trained cop.

Fucking American's are insecure little bitches right now.

He seems like a nice guy, and has all his original teeth still.
