Pretty common connectivity issue - try resetting your router, changing your wifi password, or connecting directly, or all of the above.

this usually happens when you need to update

Do you have more than one install? You need clean titanium client + p99 files in order for this to work

Something is probably wrong with your install, though it's not unheard of to be able to connect to all other servers and online games yet still have connection issues with P99.

Are you positive you're extracting to the right folder? Are you verifying the files are there after you've extracted them? Are you positive your shortcut is pointing to the correct folder and not some other installation of Titanium? Did you carefully follow every step in the Getting Started Guide (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=211699)?

I'm having this same issue.

Just uninstalled and deleted my EQ Live install just in case it was causing issues with this install. Same issue.

I am having the same issue....if anyone has a solution, or if anyone has figured out what they did wrong or what it was in error, please do report! :-)

Ok, for me, it was having BOTH of dsetup.dll AND DSETUP.dll
I removed the upper case one, and now I don't get that error at the character creation screen. Haven't advanced further, but one more error gone!
