Wasn't it 170-180 the other week? Apparently nearly 30% of the RoZ pop at peak got bored already, I'm sure that's just a temporary setback.

So we're on about 65 players / 130 boxed accounts as of today (assuming nobody is 3-4 boxing)? Lets see how it's looking next week :o

Not sure about that. A lot of that was bind camping, bind rushing, and corpse denial. Killing gearless players trying to get to their corpse may be legal on "RoZ", but I wouldn't call it epic pvp.

There is something off about the RoZ numbers. There appears to be barely any /ooc chat. Very few WTB/WTS/WTT, for 170-180 players/boxes. In fact, it always seems to be the same 10-20 people in chat. That's about 20-40 names in /ooc. Who are the other 150ish players? Even R99 had more consistent /ooc chat. As toxic as it was at times.

Maybe I'm missing it, but their discord records /ooc, so I don't think so. Just seems like that majority of the server is mute.

To be honest it’s a little jealously that we can’t feed our addictions with :cool:. I really don’t want to hug zoneline and mass pvp for 48 hours. It’s not my version of fun. I like the ganking and leveling, skirmishing over batskull earnings or gbs which doesn’t exist in roz.

There isn’t much twinking either cause you level so fast. Which is another favorite element of mines, to destroy rags.

RoZ has anti-plug features enabled. It's really a different dynamic without plugging and with item loot.

You know Nirgon, I thought that too. But playing everquest with no rules, no bs gm's hitlering everything, its really an entirely different way to play. I don't think I would come back to be honest. I will admit, Red1999 has the most stable box, least amount of glitches, and very classic, but overall, I am really loving this experience.


Plus, it doesn't have that stigma that red had, where people are so concerned about their pvp kill count. Andysixx was a fucking menace, he may have died a million times, but that fool never gave up. Tenacity really did pay off in the end for AzraelSloshHoardeZerg, they fuckin earned it. That was not an easy CT for either side.


It truly was an epic experience, and I hope to see it again in the future!
