Reinstalled Wineq not working

I had to restore my computer. I reinstalled EQ twice and wineq2 failed both times. I also reinstalled in winEQ. I put both files to administrater and ran them on windows 7 (I have windows 10) and wineq still fails. I also directed the wineq folder to the EQ file. Any suggestions? I really want to play =(

Do you need WinEQ?

If it’s just playing EQ in a window without borders you’re after, look into Borderless Gaming.

Its not just Wineq. Its regular everquest file too. It gives me an error message (The code execution cannot proceed because DSETUP.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.) I have Avast virus scanner. I told it to accept everquest and I uninstalled Mcafee. Still get this message =(

I found another post and they said to copy "launch titanium" file to desktop and some how that fixed it so far.

Assuming that you're using Windows? When you look in your everquest directory do you see the dsetup.dll file?
