Starting my first char who can research spells. Necro. What's the best way to skill up? Just waste pages trying? Or is there something w/ the concordance? Thx in advance for help.

Spending training points (platinum) on it.

I have 200 research on my enchanter...did maybe like 10 combines total (a few allures and other research only)

I did the same thing as foxplay but not all the way to 200, I actually always found it fun to collect pages and just combine them

Also anytime you get ported check the druid vendors because ppl constantly sell words/pages/runes to them and you may find one you need !

Keep in mind that research is capped by your character's level too. I did a combination of skill points and vendor mining for pages to work mine up.

Oh shit. I assumed it was like tradeskills and you could only train it to 20 or 21 or w/e. Really useful into there. I know where im dumping pts on my int caster alts now.

You could go 50:50. Train it up to the point where you are hunting then rely on pages to get you the rest of the way. One way to save some plat.

in my experience the pages are just never worth the bag space, especially in the 50+ range. Just save all inventory slots for pet gear peridot's and vendor gems/loot

Only a few of the research spells sell for anything decent like allure so maybe keep an eye out for pages to the good research pages and trash the rest
