HOH primary BOC secondary

Aside from SOD, salindrite dagger etc that no longer drop.

A hsagra horn and a blade of carnage are the highest dps droppable weps you can get?

And HOH primary and BOC secondary?

Are there any other droppable primary weapons that can do more dps then a Horn?

Assuming you are a dual wielding, double attacking class. I initially would think the Blade of Carnage primary, horn secondary will net you the most dps because of higher dmg and close delay.

However...

un-hasted every 100 seconds you'll swing about 43 times with BoC and 50 times with HoH. 7 more attempts to hit, 7 more chances to apply bonus damage over the course of 100 seconds. So even with hitting for less damage each time, I think you will end up doing more damage with the HoH as primary.

Faster primary wins unless ratio of slower weapon is significantly better due to more dual wield procs, and damage bonus application from swings.

Rangers, too. It's why I haven't bought an HoH. Wouldn't mind seeing some comparative parses.

Thats a good point. So then you have swiftblade of zek in the running for primary.

With some fuzzy estimates at 60 damage bonus

13+5.5 / 20 = 0.925
11+5.5 / 20 = 0.916
15+5.5 / 20 = 0.891

Sboz is very close to an HOH and with 10-15 less weapon skill in piercing for a war... maybe sboz overtakes it due to that point.

Anyone see any holes in this?
