Hello. I recently got a house with my girlfriend and her kids. Id really like to get her and at least one of the boys into playong EQ with me but I thought multiple accounts from the same IP address would be looked upon as “boxing”. Would it be possible to do this and if so what’s the best way of getting the files on their computer from mine? I tried copying the EMU folder onto a an external hard drive to put it on my old game computer and got an GUI.exe or something error. No idea what happened there...
Thank you, Renlaan

Make a post in this forum (https://www.project1999.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25). Choose the prefix "IP Address", and then politely ask for an "IP Exemption".
Also, as it says in a sticky in that forum:
When posting for this, please include the account names of every person that will be playing from the same IP, as well as the identities (real first names) / relations to those players, and please make sure that at least one character has been created under each account. Please verify the spelling of each account you specify. This format works best: Real first name - Relationship - Loginserver Account Name
If you fail to provide us the format we have requested it will delay your request.
If you have requested an IP Exemption in the past please provide those accounts too.
Once you request the exemption you just have to wait. The staff does them in batches, so if you're lucky you could get it tomorrow, or you might have to wait a month, or maybe even longer.

You need the correct version of direct x. Not 100% sure which one. In the past I started the EQ Titanium install, just to get direct x install app to trigger, stopped the EQ Titanium install, then copied the files over directly like you yourself did.
