Oasis Spectres Fear kiting into water Unable to Loot

I am farming Oasis Spectres and fearing them on SE Ramp portion. They usually fear into the water and once killed, I am unable to loot corpse at this time. The bodies just despawn rather than opening up for loot. Please help!

What do you mean they despawn? Do they have a 30 second rot timer after you kill them or do they poof immediately without leaving a corpse?

They remain for a number of minutes as unable to loot corpse, then the corpse despawns after 6 or so. It should be known that this only occurs when they die in the water and about half of the time.

Have you tried using /target mob name to target the corpse, and then /loot to loot it?

Oh. That happens when any mob dies in the water. I lost a Pearl Kedge Totem that way while I was leveling my druid. It probably has something to do with the corpse sinking and the client and server not agreeing on where the body is to let you loot it.
