Only been playing maybe a week so I can't twink a toon if it costs a copper so where is the best place to grind out my levels to 9 when I can get some spells and become more beneficial to everyone? I am currently a lvl 7 Welf in Freeport

You can kill snakes / bears / lionesses in East Commonlands for a level or two with buffs from EC tunnel, or you could try and join an orc camp group, although you might be a level or two too low for that at 7.

Also keep any High Quality Bear Skins you find, they sell for 30p each.
Sell bone chips too.
It all adds up and you can find some decent Paladin gear for cheap.
^ Very true. I'd recommend:
https://wiki.project1999.com/Sword_of_Skyfire
as your first item. Can often find it for under 100pp (or 3 HQ bear pelts or 7-10 stacks of Bone Chips) and it will serve you well for dozens of levels.

after EC/WC, befallen is good xp and plenty of bonechips. Then Oasis from 15ish-23/24. I usually do HHK after this and sell my ears for 25-30p each. Can make a few kpp from this by the time your 30-35. should be able to buy a few pieces.

Usually Gynok spawning is a cause for celebration.

I messed up when I said Welf, I'm actually a Half-Elf and follower of Marr. I went to try out Orc hill and they told me to go F myself (the Orcs did that is) so now I'm a lvl 6 again lol but just a tick or two from being 7. I will definitely try everything y'all have told me though and I appreciate all the help

Save some plat and get crustacean shell gear (100p) per piece. If I had some I'd just gift to you. Probably the cheapest tank plate to hold you over till better gear 50+

Reroll Tunare. Nature's Defender for the win, and so much easier than epic. Both are doable though :)

It’s (Natures’s Defender) is not necessarily “easy” but in no way “hard”. The ratio isn’t great but looks cool, has stats, and a proc. If you want to roll Half-Elf or High Elf anyways I’d probably re-roll and go Tunare. With a friend PL’ing you it’s probably an hour or less of grinding to hit lvl 7.

Okay but what is Tunare? That's not a race I have and I'm not playing this game with anyone I know so I don't have any friends yet just a few acquaintances.

It's a diety choice you make at character creation, same screen you pick name and starting city.

You can get to level 10 from level one in about 5 hours running bard mail from Felwithe to Kelethin and make some plat at it, though your skills will suffer for it.
