Ok no, not really. I know this is a classic server.
But with all the "please add Luclin" posts we've been having lately I just wanted to point out that there's an expansion which doesn't go to the moon, doesn't introduce cat people or beastmasters, and doesn't have aliens or the bazaar.
It also doesn't have travel books, doesn't increase the level cap (or introduce AAs), and doesn't add instancing or any really broken new spells or items.
However, this expansion does add new zones to classic continents, with "new monsters" that are just new pirate-themed versions of existing races like trolls and ogres. In fact, as long as you leave out the lizard mounts, froglok race, and frogloks re-claiming of Grobb (all of which can easily be left out without impacting the rest of the expansion), the entire thing is nothing except 100% classic content that would fit in perfectly on P99.
I'm not holding my breath expecting this to ever happen; all I'm saying is that if P99 does ever add an expansion it shouldn't be Luclin or Planes of Power, it should be the massively underappreciated (but somehow almost designed for P99) Legacy of Ykesha expansion.
