Druid Dilemma

L19 Human Druid and needing Shield of Barbs spell which is only available at the Druid Ring in NK. When I get there I can see the vendor but he is surrounded by a red Treant and all the Druid npcs are red and view me indifferently and as I am solo there is no way I can take them on.

Two questions: Why are the Druid npcs so hostile if I am a Druid myself and is this the same at the Druid Ring in WC where I will need to go soon to get my Port spells?

red is the level they are, 2 levels or more higher than you.

"indifferent' is the level of faction, after all modifiers such as race class are applied. Indifferent is the 'medium' faction, they wont hurt you or attack.

For future reference, the word indifferent means doesn't care one way or the other.

Also for future reference, anything besides "<Mob name> scowls at you ready to attack" and "<Mob name> glares at you threateningly" wont attack you unless you attack it.

Dubious, Apprehensive, Indifferent, Amiable, Kindly, Warmly, Ally are all safe to be around.

Red is actually 3 or more. 2 levels higher than OP would be yellow.
