Everquest: Windows - Application Error

I keep getting this error when logging into the server:
The instruction at 0x022F45B4 referenced memory at 0x0302F04C. The memory could not be read.

Click on OK to terminate the program.

I'm on a Thinkpad E530 running the latest version of Windows 10. This is a fresh install of the game, with no settings setup. Any help is appreciated.

*EDIT* I can login and play on EQ Live TEST service.

The only solution I had was eventually getting a hold of my brothers copy of P99, copying it to a USB and dragging it onto my HDD.

I did a comparison of files, and there weren't any.
