My son let me know about project 1999. We used to play EQ together when he was much younger. I'm glad someone has captured the original spirit of the game.

My son put in a request for IP exception for me. Should i have put it in for myself or does it matter?

And I look forward to meeting any old gamers. Past 50 I know it will most likely be a small club :)

It doesn't really matter, who puts in the IP Exemption.
But one word of advice, don't try to use it for ports or even for quick item transfers, if you do it alone.
GMs are very strict about the boxing policy and your accounts will get banned if you get caught.

Good choice on the barbarian; I find fighting in West Antonica gives the most authentic classic levelling experience, even if it can be a little under populated.
