There is are 2 places near frenzied camp where mobs are going into corners and going under world. It seems mobs going under world here can retrigger the start of that mobs timer and all these mobs are getting stuck somewhere between archmage and frenzied spots. if a mob does run into this corner and lives.. its pretty much waves and waves of frogs (more than can even spawn in dead side).

Are you sure it's a respawn and not some kind of warp to another spot in the zone that causes assist aggro on every frog it passes? Did you sit down after it went through the wall?

If you havent noticed - when mobs are fleeing they can go through any wall in any zone especially when pushed by any sort of melee or sometimes even when not.

This happens all the time when fear kiting fe`dhar mobs in skyshrine. It always happens in a few specific spots and sometimes they come right back through the same wall, after floating in nothingness until the fear wears off, and sometimes they warp into an adjacent hallway (which may be a 20 minute run from where you are, because skyshrine) and bring lots of friends.

I had this happen with a charmed woff on the path between 4way and Arena.
