As a HE enchanter. What should my unbuffed/buffed charisma be at? I'm at 205 buffed. I keep reading 255 and or 205. Suggestions? Please and thanks!

200 is the softcap, 255 is the hardcap

If you're primarily soloing/small grouping, getting your charisma up closer to the hardcap can be nice just for that reduced chance of charm breaks and calm resists.

We don't have the exact formula, but the developers did say other stats have diminishing returns after 200. So Charisma is probably the same way.

So 200 is fine for leveling. Once you are near 60s you might as well shoot for 255

Thanks, I'm lvl 51 now. Is it worth it to drop some other stats for CHA?

CHA, INT, and STA/HP are the main things you want; dropping other stats in favor of those is okay.

Dropping one of those stats in favor of another is a little trickier and mostly depends on what you're doing. For soloing, I'd value STA/HP a fair amount (it's your buffer against catastrophic failure). For grouping, I'd value CHA/INT.

MP is a bonus that lets you handle more charm breaks in a row or more mezzes at a time without going OOM, but I wouldn't prioritize it as much as cha/int/sta/hp.

Thank you all for the advice!

In terms of soloing, I can count on one hand the number of times I've died from going OOM. Charm breaks or critical calm resists kill me more than anything. With that in mind, I would focus on getting your buffed CHA to at least 230 and then focus on AC/HP/STA.

In regards to AC vs STA vs HP... Loraen has calculated that 1 AC is about equal to 2.4 HP at level 60. With that in mind, higher AC results in getting hit less, and therefore fewer spell interrupts. So Loraen suggested that 1 AC is probably really worth 3 HP at level 60.

Also at level 60, 1 STA = 2.4 HP. So you're probably going to want to focus on HP items instead of STA items.

At level 60, I have noticed that 10 AGI results in 2 AC.. so I don't really worry about it.
