Quid Rilstone

I've been camping Quid rilestone looking for the Siryn Hair Hood. I have killed all the phs over the last week in rathe with no success. I following the spawn guide in this thread and still havend seen him (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=812&page=4). Does he still spawn?

I killed everything listed on these fourms far as skele fire beetles and bears for arourd 6 hours straight around pally and gypsy camps. Havent seen him and sked a few others that have been in and out of area last week or so same thing. Ive been advised that his placeholder is fire beetle bear or a skeleton and do note that there are always 1 bear 7 fire beetles and 5 "a skeleton" and always one extra of the bunch that i assume is the place holder. Maybe im just very unlucky with this camp or maybe im way off given i havent ever made quid spawn.

I know this is pvp bug forum, but on blue I've seen him three times. Both times just running in a big circle around the hill with the paladin camp and killing every wandering mob in sight. First time I was with a necro who got the hood, second and third I was soloing but got the sword unfortunately. Luckily the 3rd spawn was ~ 20 minutes later and got the hood.

This thread caught my eye and I am now wondering if the rarity of Quid was changed with the patch, or if it is just different for Red. I learned how to spawn Quid about a month ago. I practiced on Blue (where I have a 60 Druid), and I was able to get 3 shawls after maybe 4 hours of camping. I have been leveling a druid on Red, and finally got to a level where I know I can solo Quid. So, I went to the camp yesterday, cleared all the possible PHs, and started regularly clearing PHs for literally the next 6 hours. I had one Quid spawn the entire time, and he dropped the hammer.

@Mcoy: When did you see Quid last? Is this a recent account?

Depends on recent, was about 3 weeks ago. I took a long break between the first and 2nd spawns:

No luck after a few hours killing all ph. After patch.

ROFL he spawned half hour after I posted this. Got the hood. =)

Can you confirm what you were killing to get him to spawn? I've been told the PHs are only skeletons and bears. Others have said beetles too, others say just to kill everything.

^This. If there are two bears up, one of them is the PH. If there are not, just AoE all the skeletons and beetles.
