EXP locations for a 54 MNK?

I took half a day to grind half of 54 in high keep. I’d go back, but every Ogre and Troll SHM in the game goes there, and aside from the fact that both are allergic to soap, they take all the merbs like illegal Mexicans at a labor exchange in southern California. I’ve tried KC, ut anything less than Hands gives me 0 exp, and I can’t always join a hands group: Is there any other way to get through 54? On my main, being a CLR, I just lived in Chardok AoE untill most of the way through 59, but Chardok AoE is like Zedd, and Zedd’s dead, baby. Zedd’s dead.

So how do I finish up 54? Do I try and stick it out in HK, find a Hands group is n KC, or something else? 55 is so close, and yet, so distant.

54 is a hell of a grind and the last level you can really do things in the old world. Alternatives are Felwithe/Kelethin/Kaladim/Erudin(?) guards but they'll all be light blue at best (like nobles).

Other than that, its time to hit the grind in KC/Sebilis...good level for Chardok if you can bring your own group too ^^

That’s right, I didn’t think of Old Seb. How difficult are the pulls in there compared to KC, and should I bring my own group, or can I spam LFG in /ooc, and find a group?

Any of there camps in my L59 solo guide can be done duo’d with a Shaman. That should give you 10 more suggestions.

i'd stay in KC until you at least get your epic pipe. its really not a bad exp zone, and its fun to pull there (if you know the ropes).

After KC, seb is the next major stop in the map.

Yeah, I’ve had my epic since 46. That said, my MNK is parked at KC, so I’ll see if I can get a Hands group or two.

u can definitely come back to HHK and camp nobles / bards until level 56 for exp.
Even at 56 exp is not too bad there actually (u get 1 blue bubble in a little less than 1 hour if u get nobles and bards).

Not bad for a semi afk camp, but you're talking 24ish hours play time to clear that level if that's accurate. 54 broke me, I couldn't continue after that :p

Take it or leave it.. If you have a fungi and your epic, solo KC entrance/dog house. Do this til about 56. Move to LCY/RCY + dogs til 58 then solo basement.

The problem with this strat is the PHers for this are really low level.

The worst thing in KC is having a monk pulling that is obsessed with getting a Tstaff.

Pull spectrals/hands/bodyguards/decayed soldiers. Good XP and passable loots for 3/4 of those mobs listed.

Focus on these XP mobs and get into Seb where you'll make the money to buy the Tstaff. Will be more enjoyable and speedier overall.

On that note, what mob drops the tstaff, and where does he spawn?

Skeletal warlord. Has ph on the bridge, in the rooms behind closed doors next to lcy well and in the jail rooms above drolvarg warlord/bodyguards/pawgbuster. Afaik despite having multiple ph only one skeletal warlord can spawn at a time.

Tstaff is his super rare drop. His rare is some Kunark clicky armour and his common some jarsath scale armour.

People will troll you by placing velium great staffs on warlords to falsely make it look like he has at staff.

I’ve seen 5 tstaffs drop in my time on p99. 3 of those have been in the last 2 weeks with most recent last night.
