Greetings all. I played on P99 for a short while years ago and never got extremely far. Though I recalled at the time being told Wu's armor wasn't in the game (or was and then removed). I decided to come back and start my monk over and gave my old cured silk set hand me down. Now I want to make sure Wu's is now available? So far it seems it's quite difficult to find anyone actively making it/selling it.

If it wasn't ever fully brought back, is there a similar sort of armor set for a lowish price to upgrade from Cured Silk to? Only have about 300 pp and really wanting to give myself a little boost for when I have to solo.

Thanks for your time!

Yes, it's in the game and there's probably 1000 people on the server that have a character that can make it lol. If I were you and wanted a set I'd farm up a couple stacks of spider silks and see if someone would be willing to make it for you for cost, which people more than likely would. Tradeskills are nearly meaningless on this server, which is why you never see anyone selling it.

One particularly relevant detail here is that everyone on the server who wants the Coldain Prayer Shawl (ie. many? most? casters) has to get a certain level of Tailoring for it, and that level of Tailoring all but requires making Wu's armor.

At this very moment there is likely someone (maybe several someones) sitting in-game making Wu's armor, and then selling it to the closest vendor, because all they want is the skill. If you can find just one of these people they'd probably be happy to sell you the Wu's at cost, because that would still be more than what the vendors pay for it. The only hard part is that you may need to bring them one pattern for every armor piece you need, because when you skill-up tradeskills you tend to just re-make the same piece over and over.
