Ranger Weapon Choice?

I'm 58 and been using Woodsman's Staff (31/35) for the past 18 levels or so, and considering alternatives. Would Skyfury Scimitar (13/23) and Winters Fury (13/23) be much better at my level? Not planning on grabbing epics until I grind out 60.

I had those two weapons from 50 onwards, liked them alot if u not into proccing.

Phew! Someone else finally said it. Holding back on earthcaller I can undrstand, but swift wind is so awesome and a piece of piss to get. Do it naow!

Do you have a really good haste item that is holding you back from working on your Swiftwind? It will increase your dps by quite a bit and help get you to 60.

At your level, dual wield really starts to pick up due to the main hand damage bonus. I would suggest you go for a main hand weapon with a shorter delay (such as crafted velium warsword 10/18 or crescent blades of luclin) with maybe a winters fury in the offhand (until you get swiftwind).

Your best weapons to get to 60 (Realistically) will be the epics in my opinion. Once i picked up the main hand at 52, i was able to solo substantially easier Granted the slow procced ) Now.. If you for some reason already have a WillSapper.. Just skip the main hand epic.
The Offhand Epic dmg/delay kinda sucks tbh BUT the Effect is what makes it so good. Epic haste + 30 Attack. You see the bigger difference when fighting mobs closer to or above your level with higher attack.
