Necromancers are a force to be reckoned with!

I am an enchanter at heart but I also have a real love for the necromancer class. I've killed many many big bads on my enchanter but I wanted to give my necro alt a chance to shine and I killed Drusella Sathir solo to see how a necro would stand against her.

I probably could've done a little better but adrenaline was pumping with only a theoretical plan so couple derp moves were made. Just posting to show some necro love and to entertain some of you!

Yes sir, I was curious how healing the pet vs having it slowed would work and i found that the necro heal doesn't really keep up with her dmg so when I saw the pets health dropping pretty fast I was a bit nervous. Always nerve wracking the first time !

And I was just thinking that, I wish I would've added some kinda background music to hype it up a little bit more. Mayhe I'll reupload

It was a good video until the end where you revealed your true self, a dreaded torch thief. When I gave that spirit that torch so I could clear a few golems and get into the back of east I never imagined it would be stolen in such a daring heist.

The day I saw the spirit with the rod it took me a solid 10 minutes to decide if it had been sabotaged with a +MR rod made to look like it was just a rotting Rod of Oblations or if it was actually just a rod of oblations.

No they were just regular rods of oblations lol.

They dont sell for even 100p and I cant hardly find new players to take them so I just started destroying them or giving them to the pet.

Nice. I never knew that charming the pet to aggro her wouldn't bring the golems too. Guess I assumed she'd have aggro on the pet and then that would cause an assist from the golems, not that he'd only count as aggrod on the player and therefore come solo.

Yup, charm is treated by other NPC's as a detrimental spell the same as Tash or any other detrimental spell. Nearby NPC's will assist your newly charmed pet running straight to attack you instead of having direct aggro on the newly charmed pet, attacking the pet and transferring aggro in the process.

The stars WERE aligned for you though. Got the pull that way, no charm break, NOS and some icing-on-the-cake drops too. Nice nice.

What would you say your odds would have been of being able to get off a FD to reset things and give it another go, if you had needed to?

I think being able to get the FD off and just try again would be fairly likely.

I knew the whole time that just statight recovering from a charm break would be pretty damn hard because mez wasn't loaded and drusella was dotted up. If I got a charm break late I would likely try to root everything , get pet recharmed anx then play a root rot game with DS while I waited on pets root to break. I think maybe it'd be possible to just mez your pet and recharm but I'd have to be careful with getting summoned and you cant mez drusella because without slow you have to not only heal but also dps her down with dots and nukes.

My plan before I saw that the mobs lined up perfectly was to use snare and slowly but surely inch her to the door and once she was threw it I'd just root her and get pet asap

IMO if charm broke it was necromancer brains smeared on the walls...

Summon, wack to 50% hp, start casting FD or root, summon by pet, interrupted, whack whack, start casting FD, interrupted, dead... we know how it goes. :p

Only makes your achievement bigger.

Well I'll admit I had some extra confidence because I was keeping vexing up and had aegolism so was rocking 3.1ish hp

A charm break definitely would've been a tire iron to the dick though
