New to P1999

Greetings,
I'm new to Project 1999, but played EQ back when it was first released.
I just got everything loaded and was wondering if there is a thread for
when the servers will be down for maintenance? I'm guessing that is
why I can't connect. Thanks,

I don't think they announce brief Server downtimes.

But you can easily check, if the servers are up on the starting page of P99 (https://www.project1999.com/index.php).

P99 rarely ever goes down for extended amounts of time, so much so that they so simulated repops (earthquakes) to take the place of matienence days back in the day

Usually when it goes down it's early in the AM and only for a few minutes. Anything more than that and it's usually announced by staff
