Probably not classic at all, but having a forage macro for places like WL where you can grab yew leaves and /autoinventory that stuff is pretty convenient.

Then again I might just not have known about it in 1999? There are a lot of "/" commands.

You are out of touch with project 1999 and I can justify this by stating that there are many things on p99 that are custom. Such as 25 mob ae limit, that's custom.

Nilbog and Rogean will do what they want with p99. I understand and accept this. And in no way would become upset with the staff for deciding to fix a bug with sufficient evidence. I've stated in the past that I believe staff favor player hindering bug reports. And rygar seems to go out of his way to hunt down bugs that when resolved will hinder players.. It's all a series of trends and information. I'm not just making a fuss for the sake of making a fuss.

I never found this command very useful. On my toons that can forage I either eat it immediately or drop it on the ground, carrying around different types of food takes up to much space. Outside of foraging I don't know why anyone would use it.


But I agree with Baler somewhat. None of the "it's classic" crowd cared about the 25 mob AOE limit because it was a "quality of life" thing.

If pet window ever goes, I hope it's in exchange for the super classic pets holding aggro over players. Pets holding aggro is 100x more OP than a pet window, and again, classic as shit.

The autoinventory thing I *would* think should be nerfed, but only after you go back to the original client and get rid of stuff like mousepan, etc. Without doing that I hardly think autoinventory matters.

Pulling 50+ mobs to a zoneline to mass nuke them isn't classic, and it also qualifies as zone disruption... I found out first hand that I would be hounded for wanting to XP in Chardok with a group of friends. I'm glad Chardok AOE is gone, some very dirty plat went into that scene and is responsible for some people having way too many level 60s to be healthy.

You can pull every mob in sebilis not behind a locked door with patience.

Especially in sebilis, they drop every 2 seconds when you're pulling up to 40.

It can be very nice to see Cobalt Vambraces, a Bonecasters Robe, Cane of the Tranquil, 4 BD's, 2 Black sapphires, a Seb mantle, Book of Obulous, about 5 spells, 3 diamonds, and 30 or so random other gems drop off of one amazing pull.
^Not a drop list you're likely to see from less than 50 mobs.

That guide is written by a guy that's only level 54, and there are at least 5 threads on Graffes from 2001 talking about AOE xp groups including in zones like Chardok, KC, and HS. It wasn't rare either, multiple people claimed it was the main way they would xp 50+. I'm sure someone that is better at researching stuff from 2001 or using the wayback machine could find a lot more info on it.
