I think it will be a good game but its already infested with retardation like icons and red arrows above NPC's heads (as if we cant tell our target by the target box, or that the mob is CC'd with the smoke around it). Or a warrior looking boss that AOE mezzes (???), or the other boss with blue circle telegraphed fire and a script it acts out that you have to wait until its finished to attack. Could have been amazing but they let some dumbass ruin it.

I may still play cause.. its a new MMO. But I agree. A little RNG like varying damage or loot can be ok. But randomly having your spell completely fail is stupid.

Now they are all about having unlimited resources and twitch spamming stuff like it's a freakin street fighter game. Some RPGs have even gone so far as removing mana pools because they are so useless these days.

If you remove spell fizzles, you have to remove melee misses as well, otherwise not fair.

They have openly stated numerous ways that this is a niche type game. I agree it will certainly see around 100k players. Their target demo is middle aged dudes. Nevertheless 100k dudes paying 15 bucks a month AND purchasing expansion packs is still more than enough revenue to sustain an mmo.

All of that aside, once alpha and beta start with NDA’s lifted, you are going to see a lot more chatter about the game.

From a pvp perspective, it’s gonna be the Wild West again I for one can’t wait to be apart of that. Also the anti Zerg mechanics they referenced will be $$$$
