$1303 - quick booting, and if ordered in march you get an extra SSD drive with 30gb for your games and also a network card with its own CPU to get faster / less CPU intensive networking ... its a freebie! and gives a few %

hardware is $1199 + $104 for windows 7 home premium, if you got a license and can install it your self you can skip this ...

God, I would rather you pay me to build you a computer, then ship it to your house. I could probably build you something better for about 3/4 of the price.

I know everyone says build your own but seriously I would screw it up, nor do I have the patience.

Also this place give you a warrenty as well.

Screwing it up would have been an easily thing to do in the past, but it's almost idiot proof now.

if he doesnt have someone computer savy at his hands, warranty matters alot ... what good does 25% off the price if its not working in the end cause something went wrong ;)

You can get a warranty for each individual computer part, for much cheaper than a warranty on the entire system. Rarely do you see more than 1 part failing at once.

There HAS to be someone you know, that knows how to put legos together, because it's the same difficulty.

I've been told that ATI cards have finally been stepping up to NVIDIA cards, but i've always been a fan of NVIDIA. Same goes with processors. I'm an AMD guy and I will always prefer it over Intel.

You know, I was going to make some suggestions like switching the i7 to an i5 because hyperthreading on a quadcore CPU is pretty worthless for just about everything and getting a 6950 1GB over the ti, but how about I show you how to make up your own mind instead.

www.techreport.com

on the top you will have a menu to check out various types of hardware, all benchmarked so you can see what is actually the best stuff for you.

My suggestions for articles are:

CPU: http://techreport.com/articles.x/20486

GPU: http://techreport.com/articles.x/20293

as for your case, I will suggest an antec 900. Just leave the top fan off and turn the three 120mm fans to low and you will have great cooling for very little noise. Side/top fans actually disrupt airflow and do very little to help.

edit-----

actually the antec 300 woule be cheaper and still offers 2X120 front 1X120 rear. You might want to look at that instead
