Verina Tomb Time of Death

I wanted to post this yesterday, but I took a break from playing for a while and can't get into the e-mail attached to my forum account to get the forum password back. Better late than never.

Recently while looking up info on Verina, I found this old thread (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=132542) where Enchanter's across P99 would help each other out by posting the time of death for Verina and Vessel. Eventually, people just stopped posting and that brings us to the current system where you either have to be there to get the timer yourself, hope one of your friends/guildies got the timer, or just sit there and hope that she is in window. I'm sure most people would agree this system really sucks.

I OOC'd the timer while I was in Neriak yesterday but I'm not sure if people thought I was trolling or not. I was originally going to do this with Vessel, but less than 12 hours after I killed him there was an earthquake so my timer was useless. There was only one other person in the zone when Verina died so hopefully this timer will help someone that needs it and wasn't in Neriak for my OOC spam yesterday, or was in Neriak and thought I was trolling.

Anyways, to the point

Verina was killed Thursday, April 19th at 7:48 AM EST. It's currently 4/21 at 12:17PM EST, so the window started a little more than 4 hours ago.

Obviously this thread will only work if people keep posting time of deaths for Verina/Vessel, maybe wishful thinking on my part, but it's worth a shot.

Hopefully we can continue with the Verina times and maybe get some Vessel times, or even The Tangrin? I know the Tangrin is only 2 days and is a lot easier to get compared to Verina and Vessel, but I don't think it would hurt for people to post his time of death if they have it.

There's only a few days left in the month and there has only been 1 earthquake this month that I know of, now is the time to bind yourself or camp out in Neriak or Cabilis for the upcoming earthquake.

There was an earthquake today (4/29) at 2:30pm EST. I think it's safe to assume both Verina and Vessel were killed sometime between 2:35pm and 2:50pm EST. The Tangrin maybe killed between 2:35 - 3:30pm? Harder to speculate on The Tangrin.

Hopefully the people the next Verina/Vessel kills will update the thread.

I would have gone full sock on this one if I was missing the piece. Rough. He sat up with no one camping him on Monday for at least some time.

If charm holds Vessel isn't as tough to solo as he sounds because the Cabilis guards are so tough. When I killed him I just dispelled him and didn't really do anything else besides watch Trooper Googin solo him, the trooper finished the fight right at 25% HP.

Verina was much tougher for me, but that was partially because I pulled her about 3 minutes after getting out of bed so the well thought out plan I had kind of went out the window, and partially because charm broke 4 times. On top of that she resisted Forlorn Deeds 6 or 7 times before it landed.

That said, if you can get a healer or another enchanter to camp them with you that is obviously the way to go. I camped both shortly after returning from a break and all my friends that would be willing to sit through such a long camp were MIA so I didn't have that option.

I was camping VT this morning with 3 other people when I had to log out at 10:30 AM Eastern time. When I logged back in at 12:40 PM there was only one other person in the zone who told me that VT had died about 10 minutes earlier. My guess is she won't be in window until 12:30 PM Eastern on Monday.

I've been stuck on the last 3 pieces for mine since killing Verina, Wraith/Hate/Prince. Ironically they are turning out to be far worse bottlenecks for me than Verina or Vessel.

Hopefully I can get Wraith sometime in the next couple weeks. A monk friend was willing to try to pull Wraith for me recently but some bad RNG luck with multiple FD fails resulted in a fail before we got a chance at Wraith. Once I get Wraith it shouldn't be to hard to get Hate and Prince pieces.

What? It's not like it's a secret thread that a small number of people have access to. Every person that has posted a timer, including myself, spent time socking the mobs.

For years earthquakes were extremely rare on this server, do you also think it's unfair you got Verina on a guaranteed respawn that wasn't available to every Enchanter that did their epic over 7+ years? If you get some enjoyment out of sitting at spawns for multiple days hoping mobs are in window more power to you, but I can assure you 99% of Enchanter's on this server would rather not. Verina's ridiculous window has been proven not classic and is "pending update", people shouldn't even have to go through this nonsense.

When I killed Verina 1 person was in zone AFK. When I went back to Neriak the next day to finish a Reaper quest there were 5 or 6 people sitting at the spawn including the guy that was AFK when I killed her, she wasn't even in window for another 24+ hours. That is the dumbest thing in this entire game.

Because if the enchanter who previously killed it posted in this thread, then they wouldn't have to be socking just to get a timer.

Socking for the pop is already terrible, why not cooperate to not add another terrible thing for everyone.

Your best bet is to find a bard friend who can kite most of the trash around so you can just tag Wraith off the train and kill her.

I've heard of this but wasn't sure how the bard would get Wraith out of the temple and into the train without dying. Does the bard just round up the train, drag the train over top of the temple and the mobs in the train will get close enough to social aggro Wraith?

I assume the respawn from the CT repop ended up getting killed by someone else in the ~12 hours between the respawn and when my buddy and I were both online and ready to give it a shot because it wasn't in zone.

Wraith gets caught up in a bard swarm for aeing to clear for CT. Hang around either on a regular CT spawn or a rumble and its likely that you can scoop up the head if you ask nicely.

It certainly doesn’t hurt to ask. I got my vampire dust by asking those that went up if one dropped that someone did not need if they could shoot me a tell and I would get a port up.

That’s goofy. I got mine for the cost of a Hate stone. Make friends and ask if one is going to rot. Most guilds aren’t going to be jerks. Or be ballsy and take up a group or two of friends and do it yourself.

There is a level 50 merchant in the very back of the zone. It’s the only real option for a solo.

Like Baylan said, Draan N`Ryt is the only charmable NPC in the zone that stands a chance.

Besides that it's just push, luck, and clickies. Make sure you junk buff the pet right cause she will double slot dispell. If you're going to put the time into socking her I would highly suggest doing Soulfire quest, a Reaper was enough for me but she only CH'd herself once.

Wand of Allure or Puppet Strings are basically essential too, it's possible to channel Boltran's after stunning pet but it's more risk than it's worth. I would say bring a Wort Pot too in case it goes south. Also get a cleric HP buff before you camp. Better to be over prepared than get her to 30% and die after wasting days of your life.

Make sure you use the hill by the zoneline to push her down when she gets near the range she starts casting CH so the pet has a better chance of interrupting her. You can Rapture to interrupt but unless she's at like 20% it's not worth it, she'll flee around 15%.

I think both were downed yesterday
VD between 12pm to 4pm EST
VT between 5pm to 7pm EST

Mind you this was me intermittently checking. I saw the campers gone when I checked at those times. I cannot confirm if they popped.

Also, i wanted to share with you my camp because i am truly desperate. Since 10 days i began to track her death with log file, twice she pops during my sleep time. But on the third, i decided to camp nearly h24/h24 during the window, thats kinda stupid but i wanted to finish this as soon as possible. So i am in front of my empty screen like a jerk waiting and doing nothing else. All the time i had to afk, i recorded everything with log file.

And nothing... N O T H I N G. We are 13 hours beyond the window spawn. I never saw VT pop, and no sign of her on my log file. (slept 3 hours)

I just wondering : Is the new window 2-4 days is applicated ?

And do you have any explanations guys ?

Ok It's juste a game, it's just pixel but i love the solo gamestyle of enchanter and i really want to evolve in this direction.

Because i saw a lvl 1 against the wall completly still. The player had a device to see when VT is up without looking their screen. That's for shure.

Should i report her ? I am lacking of informations here. This is just a 20 years old game... Why thoses 2 camps doesnt switch from 2-4 days to 24 hours ?

They were using Gina, which is totally allowed. I share your frustration, she must have popped last night because the zone is empty today.

Window is still 2-7 days, since there hasn't been a patch yet.

FTE means "first to engage" - the person who aggros the mob first and thus has rights to kill the mob (unless it resets).

Third time, (best time), i do a 20 hours shift in a row until 3am.
I see that " nervouscharm " is casting a spell but no Verina Tomb casting...

Nobody knows, but there hasn't been a new patch in over a year. I wouldn't assume it's going to be any time soon.

I've been hesitant to bring attention to this app due to the potential for people to use it to sell loot rights, but since it's not exactly hard to access and loot rights are being sold now I might as well help level the playing field for people wanting to camp it themselves.

Its only interaction with the game is reading your log, and GM's allow log readers. It was designed for auctions but it will text/e-mail you when it reads the any phrase you tell it to look for, such as Verina/Vessel casting a spell to self-buff or the broadcast that happens with an earthquake.

Make sure you test it before you AFK. I couldn't get the text messages to work with my provider, but the e-mail notification sent to my phone is what woke me up when Verina spawned and it's the only reason I got her.

Might as well run GINA at the same time since GINA is instant while the e-mails can have a small delay. The text notifications are probably faster if they work with your provider, but I can't say for sure. You can set it to exclude the classic troll OOC's of " says out of character, "Verina tomb begins to cast a spell" but I don't know how well that works because I didn't want to risk it excluding the wrong thing and missing the spawn.

Nah, didn't even try. Noman would have taken 20 minutes just to get to 3rd gate let alone get set up, and I don't have all the clickies to try to ensure the kill.

Nolucky and Bogos from Tempest have been sitting at the entrance for 15+ minutes, presumably waiting for someone's alt or someone buying loot rights to get there (or for someone else to zone in and they aggro her before anyone else can engage).

But I would enjoy being an to make that joke :)

Wow, there was NO ONE tracking her when I checked yesterday! I thought maybe she wasn't in window.

Vessel had 4 or 5 people tracking yesterday, and today there are zero, so my suspicion is that someone nabbed him.

Yes, both camps in the same day! And then I got voted as full member of my guild the next day. Was a very nice weekend :D
