Howdy,

I'm terribly sorry if this seems ill placed in the Server Chat section but I was unsure where else to put it:

I was wondering if staff might make a revision to their current definition of what zones are off limits during a suspension. Currently it reads like this:

anything that has an FTE message and/or is considered more than one group content is a no (except Loddy). no planes (except Plane of Sky and only on your rotation day). no VP, no ToV, no ST. Ringwar ok on your rotation turn only.

I would suggest adding "except Plane of Sky and only on your rotation day and Plane of Mischief."

To me it doesn't really make sense that this zone should be part of a raid suspension list of zones that are off limits. It is a zone with no apparent raid content (I don't know if Bristlebane exists on P99 but I've never, not once, seen a raid force in PoM - outside of ToV raiders zoning to bind a few characters and then leave again).

It is a zone where people come to solo and duo fun/challenging/profitable content and as such could be categorized with dungeons like Howling Stones and Siren's Grotto.

I have the feeling it is on the list only because it has the word "Plane" in its name, but if I'm wrong then maybe someone can explain to me why?

If it has anytihng to do with the only entrance to the zone being through a raid zone (ToV) then I don't see why that would necessitate PoM being off limits. It would mean you can be in the zone (PoM) but no new travelers there during a ban.

It would give Awakened members something to do... can't have them all loitering around the taverns in Kelethin, it's asking for trouble.

What I've heard from the rumor mill is that PoM was added to the suspension list as a result of a banned guild swarming in there and making an absolute mess of things, for lack of much else to do. Eventually it was easier to just kick them out.

That would seem like an odd rationale. I mean being raid suspended isn't the same as being suspended from the server. Seems reasonable that players should be allowed to enjoy other parts of the game - including PoM - even if they are not permitted to raid.

But maybe someone itk could chime in?

You can still raid, just not on your Awakened tagged characters...right? Right guys?

How about you just join a guild that isn't permasuspended for breaking the rules instead?

The latest update no longer mentions Sky rotation exception.

Q23: What exactly is off limits during a Raid Suspension?
A: Anything that has an FTE message and/or is considered more than one group content is a no (except Guardian Kozzalym, Lodizal, and Ragefire), no planes, no VP, no ToV, no ST, no Ringwar.

If you scroll down Sirken's reply of January 6th 2017:

This is a recent update from March. Whether it was left out unintentionally, I do not know.

Lol at trying to get leniency for dickish behavior.

Its a punishment. Deal with it.

Id assume that besides any sort of past shenanigans in PoM itself, they added this in so suspended people would stop petitioning if its okay to zone into ToV to get to PoM.

I can see how that would be annoying. Though ToV being completely off limits seems hard to misunderstand. You’d think there wouldn’t a slew of petitions to be granted passage. If that’s the reason though then fair enough.
