are you doing some kind of progressive patching like p99? like manastones & family dropping at first then boom? or everything is clean from start? Druids have 125 tracking, nerfed to 50, then back to 125, or 125 always? (for exemple)

I wont be doing strict progressive patching like p99. P99 has done a phenomenal job of getting every last detail (like that tracking). I plan to patch out manastones and abu'kars, just like I plan to patch in Velious. So, I might not get everything, but I'll get the important stuff. If this sort of thing is important to you, and you're a fan of the server, I recommend making a post on the forums (r/ralloseq) to gain traction. The biggest problem for me is I'm not a classic expert.

Titanium has target rings (I think they are turned off by default), and I will update mob models as players report them or I come across them. The only mob model I got was Deathfist Orcs, but that's because I did a lot of testing in there, and noticed it.

Since boxing isn't allowed on red, I'd encourage ppl to load up a second fresh copy of titanium and box an alt on Rallos so they have a taste of real classic pvp.

These are the experiences that get pvp into the blood. This is why I'm back on r99 for the 3rd time even though it's late in velious.

Once u actually realize this game is about pvp and not about pixels the way you play and the reasons u play become different.

Of course winning and having incidental pixel goodies is fun, but near naked pvp carnage at fire giants or fear is the best, and doesn't require a year of farming.

On a classic rallos itemloot box, u can have a 1-50 pvp toon in a week. N u can pvp naked as u lvl right away.

The pvp is always fun. And for the real pvp pros, they bag gear and risk those droppables. A pro pvp crew with gear can totally dominate, but newbz can luck out and gank them 2.

Also having an SK in umbral planar plate on an itemloot server is a real cool accomplishment.

12 mages can beat anything in classic. Might as well form up n have some fun if it lasts.

first impressions after watching shrub's twitch:

1) way too many things unclassic o_o (spells each level, map, compass, crazy loot, quests, no corpse run, etc.)
2) looks fun
3) needs a way to switch back and forth with p99 more smoothly :(
4) GM seems to be willing to put the effort to make it better, so there's that
5) GM also seems to be willing to port and bind people just cause they ask - which sucks hardcore :( but hey it's his server he's the boss!

but it was fun to watch, definitely did spark interest for a fun server until Green99 comes out.

news flash: you can join the server without any kind of re-install or work around :)
you can just click on the server, it's up there in the list, 88 players on right now.
the spells and everything work just fine with the p99 install, no problem!

Yeah, that's very true. EQ's fanbase is in the older demographic of gamers too, niche and most people who might potentially be new would have to go and get the Titanium Client, create the EQEmu account, a login server account, and play a purely nostalgia-driven game, plus a game that's got a big learning curve, not to mention FFA PVP.

The red99 players are all invested in their toons at this point, but maybe we'll see some of them pop up as well.

We're having a lot of fun and the GM is super present and trying hard to make us a beautiful box to have some fun on ;) all the banned players of <Awakened> should come say hi lol.

Honestly the biggest "bugs" are gone now, we're 1-2 fixes away from being very playable (right now there is some desync every now and then but it's being looked at live as I type this ;)), and a dozen away from being super awesome /o/
