What are your favorite tanking memories?

This seems like an appropriate place to ask this. Anyone have some war stories they would like to share about their favorite tanking memory?

I think mine would be either tanking AoW/Vulak for first time, or breaking into Fear during classic, dual wielding SSOYs and a dream! These moments provided such an adrenaline rush!

Tanking 4 bodyguard or hands at a time on my ranger in kc! We had little cc but abundant ds and heals.

Also doing ww Dragons with small groups of giant aligned characters jimjam the warrior.

Oh and 1 grouping hate zone in with awfully geared mid 50s in thunder dome on red!

Had a human warrior back in 2000, level 9 or 10. Had just zoned into WC for the first time and we formed a little group on the small mountain ledge that is next to zoneline on north side. There I learned what pulling was and started bringing spiders up. Later we joined some others at the orc camp over at lake and killed many orcs until a giant spawned on top of us killing everyone.

Duoing the Western Wastes dragons this week has been a real treat.

Tanking Trak for the first time was awesome.

I think the coolest experience I had on Filbus was actually going into VP for the first time and tanking Nexona on pillow room.

It was so amazing in there and I had no idea what the zone was like. It really made me feel like a DRAGON HERO

Ridiculous earliest memories of tanking on Live EQ when nobody especially me knew what they were doing consisted of a lot of being screamed at in group chat by warriors to stop taunting while playing a bard.

More “serious” was “tanking” Voxx on an SK in the slideshow that was a 100 or so bodies attempting to accidentally crash the server during an invasion of Everfrost.

Tons and tons of mis-adventures ending in success and the naked run of shame from towns dozens of zones away in between. Especially lower guk, I have a lot of vivid first exploration memories of those undead frogs poofing through water, walls, floors & ceilings and knowing the inevitable shitstorm was coming.

My best memory come from live on a later expansion, when I tanked that giant frog that quad for 1k (for a total of 4k)...was hard but what a surprise when I got "swallowed" (ported) inside its mouth! Was a really funny moment.. I wasn't prepared for that lol

I've tanked quite a few things monks shouldn't be able to tank, but this one really illustrates my awesome skills and keen intellect.

Sleepers Tomb low numbers TFA kill. Our tank dies (don't ask lol) and we had no more tanks, sooooo with a dangerously low blood coffee level I try to pull agro. I was almost dry of clickies from raiding a full cycle so I scrambled through my bags and ended up emptying 2x golem wands into TFA...

Dispelling slow and wiping us all.

I had a lot more major tanking kills on live mainly throughout Luclin and early PoP as part of <Stasis> Prexus, blew up the raid calendar and became public enemy #1 for a while, but our hay day was Velious.

First Forsaken Tormax kill in early P99 Velious back when Rampage were running wild, BDA was still around, dps wasn't what it is now and the pulls weren't anywhere near as refined as they are, ended up tanking Tormax (in a mix of crafted and indo, sarnak hammer and snare whip) from 50ish to 0 with a broken ch chain, a whole slew of reapers/soulfires, worts etc... while others were training around his guards and a number of wolf adds.

Had a number of other awesome encounters but that one was the one that stands out. Now things are more straight forward in what everyone is doing where to position, and general dps is significantly higher.
