How can you be sure that FD works successfully

Hey,

I just hit lvl 17 with my monk and have a question regarding feign death.
How can you be sure that FD works successfully ? I AFKed yesterday in Unrest after using FD but I was dead when I came back.

If you don‘t see the text message „fallen to the ground“, don‘t have attack on and don‘t get hit by a spell after FDing you should be safe.
You can con a mob to see if it‘s indiff.
Also remind that AoEs can hit you out of FD.

Only as soon as you stand up though. When you go afk while FD, 35+ makes no difference
