Occasional extra melee attacks against the 2nd target to aggro something that rampages? Can you out-range the attacks? Do they hit something else in melee range if the intended target is out of range? How do this Velious thingy works?

Rampage wakes the sleeper then retires and makes <Awakened>

Its based on order of who got aggro, not total aggro. It's limited to melee range.

Rampage is a second list that it set in order of aggro. The first person on the list will always be rampage, unless that person is charmed or zones. If the person on rampage gets out of melee range the next person on the rampage list will get hit with rampage.

Thanks.

Rampage's range is far bigger than the mob's melee range. If you want to run out of range you need to do move further than backing up to the casters.

Rampage gets cucked for 2 months straight to the Forsaken Asgard alliance, Hoku loses server first Gharns to Forsaken, Rampage stomps their feet and wakes the sleeper.

Others confirming this? Curious solo enchanter wants to know!

Maybe on certain mobs? I take rampage a lot on my monk and I just have to step back slightly to not get hit if I am low hp with no heal landing. I do this on quite a lot of harder targets that rampage (HoT trash, Vindi, etc.).

I’m confident that this dude is incorrect in his assertion.

From my brief and hazy experience raiding Velious, Rampage does have a larger-than-normal range. But this may only seem like it because I was fighting huge hitbox mobs.

Pretty sure if Rampage range is any bigger than melee range the difference is minor.

Rampage dominates for 6 months straight and decides to retire, Detoxx stomps his feet while Rampage wakes the sleeper.

You also don't need to be in LoS to be hit by rampage, I've seen mobs in HoT tucked up against the corner rampage clerics through the walls. Fun game.

In classic some mobs could rampage you from across the zone. It definitely varied between mobs.

You sure? Never noticed if so.

Perhaps it was due to the mobs themselves being extra large but, yeah, I can't count the number of times I've been hit with rampage after bugging out to the casters who were well out of melee range.

I will die on this hill

Maybe the mobs you are thinking of have a large melee range to begin with which is why the rampage range seems bigger.

Havent noticed that rampage range is any signifcantly different from regular melee range on HoT, kael arena, etc (mobs that are already huge).
