Hey guys, new and a quick question

I never actually played EQ way back when, but I played games like i,t and wanted to take a crack because a couple of my friends are playing. I've struggled to get it installed properly, but I think I finally pulled it off. I had to recover my password though, and now the client doesn't think my new password is correct (although I just used it to log into the forums). Is there like a wait time for the client to update what it thinks are the correct passwords after changes on here? Or am I just missing something stupid? Thanks if anyone has a quick fix answer that I have glossed over.

Forum account and login account are different. Unless you used the same password for both, that might be the issue.

The account name and password for logging into the game is created at www.eqemulator.net
It is a different account from the Project 1999 forums.

Once you figure out the login issues given you are new to eq I think some of the new player guides here will be helpful.
