Like the title says. I suppose a case could be made for mobs with a dmg shield, but I haven’t seen too many of those. Aside from some situation like that, are there 2h weapons that do more DPS than your Epic fosts andba high dmg offhand?

If you really want to solo and use that stun (or if youre pro and swap out high dmg high delay weaps to maximise every second of dmg).

Also, carry it in case of chardok patch hitting p99 any time from near future to 20 years later

Buriedpast; I meant as opposed to a quick weapon that may have a lower ratio, as one’s offhand does not benefit from level based damage modyfiers.

Mateo, I never leave home without my IFS. I would just like to know when to bust it out.

You mentioned trying to level your 54 monk. Efreeti is a camp to do that and the lava guardians have a DS. 2h can be used situationally with whirlwind disc.

I carry a Fashsmasher on my Epic monk and I will attack with my fists and then every 5 seconds or so very quick click in and click out my Facesmasher. Basically gives my Monk the Backstab ability. Nothing sweeter than seeing a double attack for 500+ damage and then back to fists of fury.

Unless you have a really high damage weapon it probably isn't worth clicking in 2h damage. IFS might be high enough at 38, but honestly its probably more of a hassle than an upgrade in DPS. Damage shields will seriously wreck you though and even though that is a very niche situation you should always carry a 2hander for when it happens. Hell a Wu Quivering Staff is better than fists on a damage shield TBH

I use TStaff 99% of the time at 59 unless I need to push a gating mob or need to avoid unwanted aggro. TStaff for now is comparable to epic/SoS with the benefit of the stun proc.

Whenever that final patch drops both TStaff and IFS should beat any monk dual wield combo below raid level weaponry.
