I checked out the server guide and decided against heading to the known server griefing grounds.

Ugh....waste of time? Probably. Dunno. Thought about joining Sanctuary, but I'm not sure about them. Taking no sides, trying to "play nice" with every shark in the ocean. I dunno.

This server as dead as it appears? Just a bunch of players playing alts in different guilds to suit their mood.

It was fun at some point for people just playing and trying to catch that pvp experience. I think dodging through twinks and ganks while leveling was part of the fun. Server always going to feel dead even when 160 on for excaty some of the reasons you stated. You got about 40-60 players that just keep this shit going on their 17th alts and will never quit. Most of the new players like yourself usually quit before end game.

Red has become a custom lvl up fast and raid content server. I think pvp has increased a bit since last year but it's the same clowns in different outfits. Server been stagnant for years...

You just have to pass the cuck test and deal with it because the red server is a separator. There's a clear difference between carebears who are trying out the server, and real PVPers. If you're a carebear then they'll take advantage of you because its obvious and fun to trigger you with an overpowered character. But if you're not a pussy then you can earn respect and sometimes get them to leave you alone or even group with you. Just never get too close because most of the red players are psychos.

For example:
PVPer gets ganked and whispers the griefer, "Hey dude I just wanna level now can you chill." then play smart by staying by the guards or going to an obscure area, or even a different character.
Carebear gets ganked and whispers the griefer, "WTF MAN I just started here why do you kill me when im low level blahblahblabhbah qqqqqqqq waaaaaa fine i'm not even going to play here." As if the griefer cares.

And that kind of attitude demonstrates that you're a carebear even though I understand your complaint. They're going to do it and what are you going to do about it? Level up, get good, learn to play or go back to blue. And that's not being mean its just how it is, even though I don't like griefers either.

Also, here's some PVP wisdom you should never forget: Fairness in PVP is a fallacy for the weak. Winners give themselves the biggest advantage possible, and you will rarely, if ever, fight on equal ground, nor should you.

However, there's still a difference between PVPing for fun with an advantage, and being an evil prick because you enjoy making people feel bad. And I don't like the latter.

That part is boring and isn't fun for noobs, I agree. It is pretty easy to avoid and level past with the fast exp and the exp bonus more than makes up for twink vs noob pvp.

Trust me as hilarious as those brickhouse pics are nobody is getting briefed off this shit anymore. What's is funny is you can literally level anywhere in this game if you used your brains and didn't just read the FAQs that nerds make. Leveling 1-60 is just time consuming nothing is fucking difficult about it all.

The good thing about red is I used to gear up a char and literally with a boxed druid get to 20 in less than 2 hours. I used VPN or hotspots from work. I don't know why anyone would grind on blue lol... I

I do wish tehre was a classic server with people in bronze armor with tarnished swords griefing people in blackburrow and east commonlands. I wish there were no fungi tunics or 30/40 two handers and I wish there were only rubicite and mith2h.

It's ok that there isn't though, it doesn't invalidate the server we have now. It just means the months of effort are put into going and getting mid level planar/upperlevel kunark/low level velious gear and fielding a force that can disrupt Apex, if it wants to, through numbers and effective strategy and warfare of strategic Apex off hours farming camps.

Why there aren't groups of specifically leveled pvp toons ready to log on during pixel camp sessions and to take out Apex farmers I don't know. Unless all the pixel farmers hide under a sanctuary tag.

Pvp should be asymmetrical warfare and we shouldn't be contesting dragons until we are ready to dominate the field unilaterally.
