I have a question about moving and potential IP issues. My wife and I are building a house that is almost complete. I’m having internet ran to the house, and will have a different IP than my current house (obviously). My question is, once we move and I go to log into EQ, will my account be tied to my previous IP, resulting in requiring an IP exemption, or will there be no issue? Just want to get this figured out before I move. Thanks for the info!

The IP Exemption is only when 2 people are trying to log into the same location.
If your wife and you are trying to play EQ together then yes you will need an exemption.

No she doesn’t like gaming, I just wasn’t sure when I logged on from my new house, if I wouldn’t be able to since the IP will be different from what I’ve played on the last couple of years. Didn’t know if that would cause an issue or not.

There is no issue
People play from work, then home. People move, people go on vacations. Sometimes people travel for work and play from hotels or cafes. Accounts are not locked to IPs, so this is never an issue
The only time you need to worry about IP issues is when you need an IP exemption so that more than one person can play on the same network, which doesnt look like you need. You'll be able to transition seamlessly without needing to do anything
