Evil bankers

Is there any evil banker near the karanas? I would like to hunt there with my troll shadowknight (NK and EK for lion skins and silk for my main, while getting exp), but don't know where I would store my belongings.

I googled "p1999 evil bankers", with no luck, so I thought I would ask here.

High keep is the closest banker or rivervale. Use invis to get in and line of sight to bank around the corner via camera F9.
Qeynos is far, maybe as far as rivervale. Same goes for oggok and grobb. :\

Unfortunately there's no way to do the highkeep one safe because captain bosec paths right by her, but if you do time it so when he paths away you use the side to Line of Sight her you should be ok. Getting behind her doesn't work there isn't a wall close enough iirc. The closest thing for you would be going through lake rathe, to rathe mountains, to feerrott

Or keep spamming /w and see if any porters are in zone.
With friendly conversation, they may change your coins for you.

It's more about hoarding my silk and lion skins for my mage who's trying to get his tailoring up to max (frigging coldain shawl quests), so I will really need a bank, not just a change of coins.

I was planning on going at level 15 for lions (lvl 14) to around 25 for crag spiders (18-22). That way I will get exp as well as supplies. I'm not sure it's safe to go to runnyeye or highkeep at this level.

A good bet would be to ask for a port to nektulos maybe. I would just need to make some plat while there. Is there any merchant who buys from troll sks, and/or is there any mob in zone who drops items worth some pp?

I could always pay for ports in gems and rusty weapons :P

Why not just park mage in karanas next to your SK and transfer as needed? You can like bind him at NK spires or something and ask someone to transfer or drop transfer.

I like my characters being independent. Sometimes I feel playing one or the other, and don't want my mage being stuck there if I'm tired of farming.

This would be a good idea, but if there's another way I would like to avoid it.

Just pay for a port to Karana on your mage, have the SK parked there and ask the porter up front for help transferring I guess? Just make sure they have the bag space. You shouldn’t be filling up your bags so quickly that it would get really tedious

You can accomplish the same thing with a throwaway toon that frees up your mage. You'll need to carefully run him thru the karanas but it's not very dangerous if you keep an eye out. Also will want to stock some backpacks before headed out so you can just drop transfer your raw stacks. Park him up a wall, as trains routinely get pulled to the zone in SK and NK.

Grab some peridots. Go to lake rathe one zone over. Use the ogre shaman merchants by the rathe mts zoneline. No one ever uses these merchants and they usually have free space to sell and buy back.

Sell the peridots(sells for 9pp and buy back is 10pp). Now sell all your shit. Buy all the peridots but one back. Rinse and repeat.

This way your only holding gems and not tons of copper/silver/gold.

I wish to thank you all for all the great ideas. So far I think I will be more inclined to try either porting my mage when my toon is full or porting my troll near a bank (Nektulos for example). I like the merchant idea for coins and transfer but if I understand correctly I would still need my mage to be there to buy my stuff back (no long term storage).

Just to be sure: I believe there are evil guilds in Qeynos Aqueducts. Are they friendly to trolls, and is there a bank there? Is the reason this was not mentioned because it does not exist/not friendly to trolls or because it would be so far away it would be faster to run to Oggok?

The aqueducts are friendly to my troll shaman and there's a banker down there. You'll need invis to run past the tough kos mobs in qeynos though. It's also a pretty long run from EK. Probably closer than oggok though.

I'm a big fan of doing this, but I use Bronze 2h axes obtained from butcherblock dwarves instead. With a 100 cha (you do have cha gear, right?) they are purchased for 4pp 2 gold and sell for 4pp 1 gold. It's like the perfect way to cycle out your crap coin.

Paineel is probably the best choice for evils. The entrance is right near Wiz ring, and faction / city key are obtainable in 1 day at the warrens. (took me 5 hours of faction work killing kobolds to merchant / bank on non AoE class.)

Also, banking in Oggok is barely 1 min slower then misty (which is widely considered to be the closest bank to a portal location) Port to Free, run NW, you'll be at the Oggok zl in about 1 min.

I did the combines for the 6th and 7th shawls at 158 tailoring. It's much easier to redo them if you fail than it is to max out your tailoring.

I don't know, man. That 3rd step for the griffon eggs is about a pain in the ass. I probably spent 10 hours just hunting eggs.

Granted, leveling up tailoring takes longer than 10 hours, but I don't want to do that crap again.

What about the bank in Qeynos Aqueducts? I reckon they are human Bertox worshippers. Might be worth a look.

Although running through WK from NK/EK is killer but that's what you get for hunting in those terrible zones. :P
