Bonds of force vs atol's spectral shackles

As a wiz I recently hit 51 and atols is now available over bonds of force as a quad snare. The p99 wiki has it listed as a 60% slow vs 55% on bonds of force. I'm wondering if there's anything else that im missing. It seems like a minor upgrade as I barley see resists on bonds of force. Also some guy tried charging me 2k for atols which seems absurd as I've bought a ton of other drop only spells for less than 100pp. Thanks in advance

Bonds is 20 radius and atols is 25. Bonds lasts 1.4 minutes @L29 to 2 minutes @L40 and Atols 2.5 minutes. Bonds 2.5 cast Atols 2.00. I coulda sworn it was a pretty common drop, so maybe look around. Pop into seb and auction wtb. Maybe check commonly used vendors too, its kinda vendor trash.

Atol's costs 50 more mana but has a faster cast time by a half second, which is significant. Resists depend on your level, not the level of the spell. You are basically trading 50 mana for a half second faster cast.

Also, the dude charging you 2k for Atol's is totally trying to hose you =)

The thing I remember about the 51 ae snare (Atols) is that I wouldn't have to recast it during a quad, which seemed like a huge upgrade.
