Missing Sky drops on mobs

In nearly 4 years of Sky on various characters I am yet to see a Spiroc Thunder Totem drop. It is meant to drop from the Guardian on Isle 5 but it never does and this is with farming tens to hundreds of spawns.

Either our RNG sucks or it is missing from the loot table.

Zilo has one and I remember seeing a few other TMO rangers running around with the ear. So it has been completed.

I am in Savok's guild. We have 2 in our DKP records and at least 1 since we stopped charging for it... but it's been a VERY long dry spell, and we clear that island ~40 times a year. Must have dropped off the table at some point.

While on the subject, has anyone checked into the rareness of Harpy Tongues at all? Shouldn't be quite as rare as it is I feel, maybe I'm just super unlucky though.

I hate to bother you Telin, but do you know if this update has happened or when it may happen? It has been quite some time and since your post we have probably killed over one hundred guardians or more - at least 12 just last Saturday. I would love an update, thank you sir.

Also, do you know if perhaps that the Spiroc Earth Totem is being affected by the same issue?

The patch was pending update on dec 2017, last patch was July 2017. So not in yet.

Although, i do have it on good authority from Sirken that the next patch is Soon(tm)

There's evidence that it may have dropped from Guardian and 3 or 4 others (walker, expulser/banisher, revolter) during the timeline on live? Maybe even all of them aside from the vanqs and Lord?

Yeah, guardian is supposed to generally drop stuff from the loot tables of the other mobs as well I'm not really sure why it says its only guardian on wiki, but maybe its different here? Or was supposed to be.

Does "Efreeti War Spear" in Plane of Sky drop? I've not ever seen one for sale.

It's for the Bard "Test of Harmony" in Plane of Sky but I was always curious how it'd do for Rogues not high enough for the epic (pre-46) since the damage is the same. Delay is trash but you could use it for an opener or swap out and in when backstab becomes available.

The wiki shows it drops off Noble Dojorn and Overseer of Air.

It's a rare drop, but it does drop. The weapons are hard to come by.

Bringing this back, wondering the state of the thunder totem??? Is it still pending an update. Really stinks to not have that super awesome earring available to ranger.
