Avatar of Water Turn In

Does anyone know at all if the avatar of water despawns after you turn in the orb of the triumvirate? I.e., can two clerics turn in the orb of the triumvirate at the same time? I know its a weird question because you would normally spawn him when you get the orb, but there was a snafu.
