Any way to play with my dad in the same house?

Is there any way I can play this game with my dad in the same house? We have two different computers but are sharing the same modem.

Kind of defeats the whole purpose if we can't play together.

I saw a thread that said to message Nilbog, but I cant find a way to message anyone.
