I went to check my bind point, and accidentally did / char instead of /char. I got a result from a /anon person and asked if they were in the same guild that was returned (Charm). They replied that they were. I thought /anon was supposed to hide this?

/who acts differently than /who all

/who is zone wide, /who all is server wide, anon’d people in Charm would not show up on /who all Charm

A possible reason is the name of the guild (charm). I believe devs have said certain reserved words behave weird in queries, such as having your character named Troller (because the name contains 'troll' which is a race... same could be since 'charm' is a spell root word).

Typically those types of names are ignored on / who searches, but possible they cause anon issues when doing searches on guilds?

This has always been this way, not sure if it's a bug or not. It's not specific to the guild Charm, /who dial used to show anon Dial a Port members in zone. Now you have to use /who "dial a port", I assume the quotations are needed because so many people put "dial" in their actual character name now. It works on all guilds in my experience.

I think my first post was poorly worded. What I meant was, the /who command has always worked like this - it is not a bug.

/who is zone wide. It reveals anonymous guilded players regardless of whether or not they are using role playing or anonymous. For example, if an anonymous <Charm> guild member is in the same zone as you, and you “/who Charm”, they will show up on the zone /who results.

“/who all” is server wide. So if you are not in the same zone as the anonymous Charm guild member, and you “/who all Charm”, they will be hidden from the results.

Ahh - interesting. Guess I never typed /who <guild> without the all before... Thanks for the heads-up! Move to resolved.
